Our Commitment to Equal Digital Access
SigilPlay Hub firmly believes that entertainment and digital leisure should be accessible to all individuals, regardless of physical ability, sensory difference, neurodivergence, or assistive technology choice. We strive continually to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Measures Implemented Across the Portal
To provide an inclusive and seamless experience, our engineering team has integrated the following architectural standards:
- Keyboard Navigability: All interactive elements, including modal dialogues, drawer menus, slot triggers, and forms, can be fully operated using standard keyboard controls (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, Escape).
- Perceivable Color Contrast: Text colors, buttons, and status badges meet or exceed the minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio against our obsidian background canvas to ensure clear legibility for low-vision visitors.
- Assistive Technology & ARIA Semantics: Buttons, navigation bars, and dynamic updates (such as ticker feeds and countdowns) are labeled with appropriate semantic HTML5 and WAI-ARIA attributes for modern screen readers.
- Scalable Typography & Fluid Layouts: The platform supports text scaling up to 200% without loss of functional layout or horizontal scrolling anomalies.
-
Reduced Motion Sensitivity: Respecting the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query, non-essential background animations and rapid banner transitions are suppressed for visitors prone to vestibular discomfort.
Third-Party Game Frame Considerations
While our primary user interface, lobby, wheel, quests, and account tools comply fully with WCAG guidelines, some third-party demonstration slot containers developed by external studios may incorporate proprietary canvas rendering engines. We actively collaborate with our software partners to urge adoption of universal accessible control schemes within their simulation sandboxes.
